Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) 

Extensions to FEKO

A group of experienced researchers are continually extending the capabilities of FEKO for customer-specific applications. The “German FEKO Automobile Users”, in particular, have benefited from this close relationship. 

Examples of this include:

  • Kernel Extensions (Thin dielectric sheets, multiple homogeneous dielectric bodies, etc.)

  • Modules (OptFEKO, TimeFEKO, AdaptFEKO)

  • Graphical User Interface

  • CAD Interface (Importation filters)

Development using other CEM techniques

Notwithstanding the fact that most development in FEKO focuses on the Method of Moments (MoM) , Physical Optics (PO) and the Uniform Theory of Diffraction (UTD), we also have experience of other CEM techniques:

  • Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD)

  • Finite Element Method (FEM)
